First Timer

So this is what blogging feels like. Hmm. I could get used to this. First things first, don't judge my grammatical errors. There will be lots. I may be a future educator, but I suck at using correct punctuation, especially commas. I'm sure that last sentence had some errors.

I guess I should introduce myself first. Well, I am a 22 year old Greek-American born and raised in Georgia. But if you count all of the summers and Christmas/New Year (yes, I said Christmas-because it was only one time---I'll get into that a little bit later) you could say I've lived in Greece for a couple years. But hey, that is more like my dream, to live in Greece for a couple years that is. I'm a senior in college. Counting down the days until May 10, 2014. Future Special Educator typing this blog. I love what I do and couldn't imagine doing anything else. Well, maybe being a princess, being lazy and getting everything I want. Oh, wait. I already do that! Ha, just kidding only when I am home with my parents. However, I can be quite lazy. For example, my beautiful puppy girl (she's really 4 1/2) Nikki tore through my trashcan last night and destroyed my floor with the itty bitty pieces of paper. I have yet to clean it up and don't plan on it until my mom yells at me for about the 50th time or maybe i'll get lucky and my brother will happen to swiffer the hallway and get my room while he is at it. Hey, a girl can dream!

So if your reading this blog let me tell you what my future blogs may be about. Being Greek, Going to Greece, Eating Food, Hating student teaching, Loving student teaching, crazy stories about my EBD students, my loud obnoxious family, my wild or not so wild friends, lack of boyfriends, Nikki, maybe some Advocare here and there (hey, I'm trying to get some business. I haven't sold a single item yet), shopping on Saturdays with my mom, my church and lack of attractive/normal single men (you Greek women know what I'm talking about or maybe its just a Savannah thing). Okay that's enough for now. All I can think about right now is those mini canollis in the refrigerator calling my name. Probs shouldn't eat one when I'm on this 24 day challenge. I haven't lost a pound yet during this challenge...I wonder why. Ha!

xoxo,
Greek Irene
